The life cycle process of the material underpinning Castelbosco and the Shit Museum generates energy on various levels. The biogas production process produces a remarkable quantity of hot water that Locatelli decided to exploit to heat the Castle. The hot water generated by the cooler of the energy production system is channelled through pipes left deliberately in sight right up to the doors of the Castle. In order to valorise and clarify the process of reuse also on the inside, a number of iron pipes with spiral fins lead away from the manifold (highlighted in red) and like an installation, continue around the entire perimeter of the Museum, heating all the display rooms.
